Overview
Ghost Faucet Hoover protects supported cryptocurrency faucet pages from confirmed disruptive advertising elements, redirects and recurring overlays. It also offers optional synchronization of supported claim timers with the user’s GMCO dashboard. Claims, CAPTCHA and reward actions remain manual.
Data processed
The extension may process and transmit encountered website hostnames, supported faucet identifiers, supported shortlink provider and task identifiers, claim or shortlink status events, and timer synchronization results. It also stores cached domain decisions, validated protection policy data, pending supported shortlink context and minimal extension state locally in Chrome.
Purpose
This information is used only to provide protection decisions, maintain supported faucet compatibility, synchronize optional dashboard timers and show optional ready-again notifications.
Data we do not collect
The extension does not collect passwords, authentication credentials, payment-card data, cryptocurrency private keys, recovery phrases, health information, personal communications or precise location. It does not sell user data, use it for advertising profiles, lending or creditworthiness, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose.
Remote services
The extension communicates only with official GMCO services at gmco.me and api.gmco.me. All executable JavaScript is included in the Chrome Web Store package. GMCO endpoints return structured data and decisions, not executable remote code.
Retention and control
Cached extension data is retained locally until it expires, is replaced or the extension data is cleared. Account-linked synchronization records are retained as needed to operate the GMCO dashboard and maintain security and audit integrity. Users may disable notifications and supported faucet timers from the dashboard.
